Bible Study

Women’s Ministry offers a Bible study during the fall and winter/spring, coinciding with the school calendar. These studies occur once a week, either in the morning or the evening. Childcare is offered for the morning studies. Different topics are covered each semester and different authors are selected, such as Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer.

Women are given the opportunity to share their prayer concerns as well as their thoughts regarding the study each week in a small group setting.

FALL 2010 Bible Studies

Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories, By Beth Moore.  This in-depth, 11-week Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites of the Old Testament and New Testament believers in Jesus as the promised Messiah.  Beth looks at the book of Isaiah through the lives of the kings who ruled during the prophet's ministry.  These kings exemplify many of the obstacles to freedom with which we must deal.  Using scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, Beth explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage.

This study begins September 1st with a kick-off brunch.
