Prayer and Healing

RiverStone Church believes strongly in the power of intercessory prayer and healing ministries.

There are many opportunities within our church to experience these ministries including Mornings and Evenings of Healing Prayer, Sozo and FaceDown.  We believe that prayer and healing are central to the vision that God has given us as a body of Christ.  Many in our community have seen and experienced deep life change that began in prayer and healing.

 

Prayer Room

Our Prayer Room at RiverStone is located to the left of the main foyer. It is open Monday through Thursday from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. for prayer and reflection.

 

SoZo Ministry

Sozo is a unique inner healing ministry at RiverStone. Sozo sessions are designed to help Christians receive healing from emotional wounds and to uncover lies that keep them from living out the truth of who they are in Christ. Sozo sessions are friendly, gentle and confidential. Sessions typically last from one to two hours and are conducted by trained volunteers who have a heart to help others overcome obstacles and strongholds in their lives.

Download and print the application.

Return the completed forms by mail (or in person) to RiverStone Church, 2005 Stilesboro Road, Kennesaw, GA 30152. Please make sure that your email address is legible since this will be our primary means to contact you. We ask that, if possible, you enclose the suggested donation referenced on the application form, made payable to RiverStone Church.

Once we have received your application, we will schedule a session for you. All sessions are conducted on Wednesday mornings or Friday evenings.

We will email you two or three dates to choose from before finalizing your session.

Facedown

FaceDown is a monthly prayer service at RiverStone. This prayer gathering occurs on the first Sunday of each month from 6 to 8pm.

FaceDown is an opportunity to intercede for the church, our city, our nation, and our world. This is an intimate time of worship and prayer that provides an opportunity for both corporate and individual prayer.

 

Healing Prayer

Please join us anytime during the scheduled hours of 7-8:30pm for an opportunity to receive healing prayer in a safe, gentle and loving environment, and is open to anyone in our church or community. You will be greeted as you enter through the portico entrance. No reservation is required. Childcare is free and available. For more information, contact Terry Cantrell 678-384-5205.

 

Ladies Intercessory Prayer

This group meets on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30am in the prayer room. The purpose of this group is to intercede for RiverStone
