Ernie and Alex Wagoner - Atlanta, GAMinistry Description: Alex and Ernie are both full-time intercessory missionaries at the International House of Prayer in Atlanta. They spend most of their time in the Prayer Room where they lead multiple prayer meetings, including praying for the Church in the metro city of Atlanta, our nation, and the gospel to go forth to the nations of the earth. They also devote themselves to the Word in meditation and study. Alongside of this, Alex and Ernie lead the youth ministry at IHOP-Atlanta, with 60 youth involved and coming regularly to their services. They lead a weekly Sunday night youth service and also lead regular outreaches in their city, praying for the sick and sharing the good news of Jesus. They envision raising up this generation of youth to treasure Christ more than anything in this life. Vision: In January of 2006 the Lord spoke to Ernie concerning raising up a House of Prayer in the city of Marietta. So, it is Ernie and Alex's foremost desire for Jesus Christ to be exalted night and day and with that, transformation would come in the region as a testimony to His coming Kingdom to the earth. At this point, Ernie and Alex are committed to seeking the maximum amount of preparation in their lives before the Lord sends them to Marietta. Through many different prophetic words, they feel that their time now serving at IHOP Atlanta is a critical time of preparation for Marietta.
